Canon Point: Version 2.4, after being taken hostage by Hoolay
Age: We are never given a canon age but he's uh. He's old enough to have been an adult and served as an army medic in a war 30 years ago. His species is long-lived and have lifespans of 250-450 years with a median age of 307, so I'm going to aim for somewhere around 260.

Personality:
✽ What is your character's main motivation? What drives them and keeps them going? Presently, the one and often only thing that keeps him going is the motivation to find a cure for the ailment that plagues Feixiao, the General of the Xianzhou Yaoqing whose life he saved from the brink of death when she was a young girl. Spending years healing soldiers that only marched back out to die on the battlefield had jaded him so hard that he decided to hang up his healing mantle, but when Jiaoqiu's master came to him years later to ask him to become Feixiao's personal healer, he picked up his healing arts once more. Now, saving her has become his reason to live, and he won't stop until he can find a cure for her condition.
✽ What is their biggest regret? Why? Not being able to change the way that war is. He understands now that his patients that returned to the battlefield and died did so in order to give others just a little longer to keep fighting, that their sacrifice was a precious currency, but he knows that there isn't anything that he, personally, could change, and it's a bad, bad feeling. It was bad enough that it dragged him down emotionally to the point where he now eats spicy things to feel something, and finds no joy in the bland foods he used to enjoy.
✽ What is their worst fear? Their greatest comfort? His worst fear is dying before he can find a cure for Feixiao. His greatest comfort is a nice, spicy dish to make his tongue tingle and a soothing cup of tea.
✽ Top three strengths? Shrewd. Cunning. Can and will utilize a medicine as a poison to, for example, make a slimy merchant shit himself in public.
✽ Top three weaknesses? Often remains emotionally distant. Doesn't seem to value his own life if it means accomplishing his goal. Is depressed as fuck and has PTSD.
✽ What was their last lie? Probably something along the lines of being okay. :) The bastard.
Inventory: Other than the clothes on his back, he has his feathered fan, his phone, and his nine-square grid hot pot. It's just a normal hot pot. There's really nothing special about it.
Abilities:
- Long life and fast healing.
- Enhanced hearing, sense of smell, speed and agility.
- Pheromones that can be used to create illusions.
- Intensive knowledge of medicines/poisons and medical/surgical procedures.
- Heart Afire - Single Attack - Conjures fire using his fan as a focus. (see linked video)
- Scorch Onslaught - Multiple Attack - Conjures fire using a star anise as a focus. (another linked video)
- Pyrograph Arcanum - Multiple Attack - Conjures intense fire in the form of an illusion of scalding hot broth. Also leaves a burning area on the ground that you do not want to be standing in. (it's yet more linked videos!)
- Fiery Queller - Basically sets the ground on fire. (there's a lot of fire here isn't there?)
